Rosemarie Truman is an entrepreneur, growth strategist, distinguished corporate executive, angel investor, innovation pioneer and prolific startup catalyst, having launched 200+ startups over the last four years. Currently, Rosemarie is the Founder and CEO of the Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI), a 501c3 non-profit that has been coined “Tinder for Startups” and “Shark Tank on Steroids.” CAI’s partners with 80+ federal labs, universities and hospitals to commercialize the most promising of their 170,000 inventions. While leading CAI, Rosemarie engineered a challenge-accelerator model that has been featured in Nature, the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and many more. She has made several briefings to the White House and Congress as well. In corporate America, Rosemarie also led IBM’s Innovation Strategy Practice globally, where she led growth strategies for 50 of the global Fortune 100 companies in over 15 countries. The strategies that Rosemarie led have resulted in $300+ billion in “net new” top line yearly revenue and 190+ new products on the market. In her spare time, Rosemarie also writes for Forbes and sits on company boards.
