Ivy Estabrooke is the Executive Director of Corporate Executive Programs and Government Project Systems at PolarityTE, Inc., a commercial stage biotechnology company. Previously, Ivy led the Utah Science, Technology and Research (USTAR) Agency where she overhauled the agency by adopting best practices and implementing competitive grant programs, milestone-based commercialization programs and development of public-private partnerships that led to a doubling of private investment in client companies and creation of over 400 private sector jobs.
She started her career at the Office of Naval Research as a AAAS S&T Policy fellow providing strategic planning support for global technology scouting. She then established the Human Social Cultural and Behavioral (HSCB) Sciences Program in support of the US Marine Corps and Naval Special Forces where she transitioned multiple technologies into programs of records. She was recognized for her contributions with the Navy Civilian Meritorious Civilian Award and the Fed 100. Ivy is a frequent speaker on the importance of technology innovation and has served on multiple National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine study panels. She serves on the board of the Utah Girl Scouts, coaches girls soccer and has been recognized by the Salt Lake Chamber for impacting women in business with the Pathfinder Award.
She is a graduate of Smith College (BA), the Dwight D. Eisenhower School National Security and Resource Strategy (MS), and Georgetown University (PhD).
